Services Guide
Services are everything that makes a container a home rather than a box: power, lighting, water, hot water, drainage, heating, ventilation and data. They are also where container builds differ most from normal houses. You are running cables and pipes through a steel shell, the cavities are thin, the floor is a steel frame with plywood on top, and the whole thing may be built in a factory and then craned onto a site.
The good news is that careful planning solves nearly every problem. This guide covers each service in turn, with the details that are specific to containers.
